$49 a seat a month on annual, setup included. Or pay monthly
and cancel any month.
One product, no tiers. You pay for the people who do the work, and your clients are free. We build your workspace before you pay anything, so you judge the price on your own agency, not on a promise. The plan has three prices: seats, storage and setup. All three are below, and so is what we do not have yet.

Seat prices only. Storage past what your seats include is further down. Prices exclude applicable tax.
Compare it with everything you pay today for review, projects, time and invoices together, not with any one tool. EditWise vs your current stack puts them side by side, with dated prices.
Annual plans are paid by bank transfer. In the EU we invoice under the reverse charge and need a valid VAT number. Outside the EU, we confirm how you are invoiced and how you pay on the call.
You pay for the people who do the work. Swap names whenever you like.
A paid seat is anyone who is assigned work or logs time. Seats are named and freely reassignable, unlimited swaps, at no charge.
A freelancer who joins for one job takes a seat for that job. When they finish, the seat goes to the next person. No fee, and no limit on how often.
Add a seat mid-term and you pay only for the rest of the term. Remove one and it comes off at renewal.
Your clients never become a bill.
Your client opens a link, types a name and email, and reviews. No account, no password, no seat. Send that link to everyone who has a say: the marketing lead, the brand manager, the CEO who shows up at round three. None of them costs you anything.
Free and uncapped: client contacts, external reviewers, guest approvers, stakeholders, and any collaborator who only views, comments or approves.
Why free, and why forever: when reviewers cost money, owners start rationing the link, and the feedback slides back into email. We would rather everyone with an opinion sees the work in one place.
Setup
We set it up, not you.
On annual, setup is included.
Everyone else sets it up with you, after you buy. We build yours from your website, before you decide. When you buy, we move your live projects in and train your team.
What setup includes
01
Your workspace built. Clients, contacts, users, roles and permissions mapped to how your firm actually divides work.
02
Your project templates, built from your real service lines.
03
Your intake forms, built from the questions you already ask clients.
04
Your branding across the portal, the review links and every client touchpoint.
05
Your install scope configured, module by module, with per-role landing views set so each person sees only their own surface.
06
Live handover sessions with the owner and whoever will run it day to day.
07
Role-specific recorded training, permanent, a few role-specific videos to enable each person to do their job effortlessly.
Setup is included with an annual plan. If you have years of history in another system, we scope the move separately.
On monthly, setup is $1,500, once. How the build and the setup run: Setup.
Two ways to start. Same price.
The Review install switches on your clients, the client portal, reviews, revisions, intake forms, project templates and your team’s roles. The money side stays off. The Full install adds time, budgets, expenses, invoicing and client profit. You choose on the install call, and anything switched off turns on later with no contract change.
Going live
You go live on two live client projects first, not your whole book. Our targets: the Review install live in 5 working days, the Full install in 10. But we tell you actual live dates before you say yes.
Every seat includes 0.2 TB. Past that, storage comes in 2 TB blocks.
Five seats include 1 TB. Twelve include 2.4 TB. If you need more, each extra 2 TB block costs $60 a month, charged on what you actually use and rounded up to the next block. There are no storage tiers.
Playback is not metered and not charged. The fair-use allowance is 2 TB of streaming per account per month.
Your agency will change. One Change Window a year is included.
Every annual plan includes two Change Windows a year, 90 minutes each. We schedule them and run them with you. Bring whatever has moved: approval routes, templates, client structures, billing rules, or new people to train.
We agree a go-live date before you pay. Miss it, and a month of seats is on us.
The date goes on your order form, and hitting it is our job, not yours. If we are late, you get a month of seats free. It takes us 30 days at most.
The 5 and 10 working days above are targets. The guarantee is on the date we agree with you.
If it does not work out, your data leaves with you.
Ask for a complete export and we deliver it within 5 working days, at no charge. Your media comes back as the original files, your records as CSV and JSON, your invoices as PDF. Nothing needs EditWise to open it.
After you leave, we keep your workspace for 30 days, so you can ask for anything you missed. Then we delete it, and on request we send you a signed certificate of deletion. An unpaid bill never holds your export back.
Year two costs the same as year one.
Year one you buy the install and the platform; year two you buy the platform at the same price, plus everything shipped since.
Every release is dated in our Changelog, so you can check what “everything shipped since” means before you renew.
As of 1 November 2026
What EditWise does not do. Check this before you pick a time.
If one of these is a must for you, we are not right for you yet, and we would rather you know now.
No public API, webhooks or integrations. A public API is not planned for year one.
No payment collection. EditWise takes no payments and shows no pay button. Your clients pay you the way they do today.
No mobile app for your team. The agency side is built for a desk, in a browser.
No white label beyond your logo and colors, and no custom domains.
No self-serve data export yet. Until it ships, ask and we deliver a complete export within 5 working days.
English only. The workspace and everything your clients see are in English for now.
Also not built yet: single sign-on (SSO) and two-factor sign-in. Both are on the roadmap, with no date. Today your team signs in without a password, with one-time codes.
How much does EditWise cost?
EditWise costs $49 per seat per month on an annual plan, billed yearly, with setup included ($0). Month to month, a seat costs $59 per month plus a one-time setup fee of $1,500, and you can cancel any month. Every account has at least five paid seats, so the smallest annual plan is $245 a month, or $2,940 for the first year. A paid seat is anyone assigned work or logging time. Clients, reviewers and approvers are free, with no cap. Each seat includes 0.2 TB of storage, and extra storage costs $60 a month per 2 TB block. Prices exclude applicable tax.
Frequently asked questions
We are not ready to prepay a year to a young company.
Then do not. Take monthly: $59 a seat plus the $1,500 setup that we can split over 12, and cancel any month. There are no refunds on annual, which is exactly why monthly exists. If the worry is whether we will be around: OCTRA, the company behind EditWise, has built software since 2020, and our own production team runs its client work on EditWise every day. About has the rest.
Why pay for setup at all?
On annual, you do not: it is included. On monthly, it is the published $1,500, once, and it pays for real work: your workspace built, your templates, your intake forms, your branding, your roles set up, a live handover and a training videos for each role. A paid setup is normal in this category. Scoro, an agency management tool, publishes an onboarding fee of $5,000 (checked 26 August 2026).
Can we pay by invoice?
Yes. That is how annual plans work: we invoice you under the EU reverse charge when a valid VAT number is on file, and you pay by bank transfer. We check the VAT number when you sign. Outside the EU, we confirm how you are invoiced and how you pay on the call.
What drives the cost, and what is free?
Two things drive it: how many paid seats you have, and storage past what those seats include. On monthly, add the one-time setup. These cost nothing extra: every feature, every client, every reviewer, every project, and playback. There is nothing to buy inside the app. Moving years of history from another system is quoted separately.
Do you give discounts?
No, not to anyone. Not for a bigger team, not for signing this week. The annual rate is the discount: it is the lowest price we have. If a price is wrong, a discount only hides it.
We have more than 40 people.
EditWise is built for teams of 5 to 50. If you are above 40 people, say so on the first call, and we confirm with you what setup looks like for a team your size before you pay anything.
Is it worth it against what we pay now?
Judge it on your own agency, not on our word. We have not measured a customer result yet, so we do not quote one. What we can do: build your workspace before you pay, guarantee the go-live date, and let you leave any month on monthly. For the money side, EditWise vs your current stack sets your tools side by side, with dated prices. Some tools cost less per seat. They leave out invoicing, or leave the setup to you.
Do we have to track time?
No. Time tracking is a module you can switch off. Profit per client comes from the project budget, not from a timer. If you do track time, it is for billing and fair workloads, and you can hide pay, costs and client money from editors.
Does it replace our invoicing or accounting tool?
No, keep it. EditWise produces the commercial invoice that carries the line-item record of what was delivered and what was approved, and you file it through your own compliant system. EditWise also flags any work you delivered and never invoiced. It does not collect payments.
Pick a time. We will have your workspace built when you arrive.
The first call is 10 minutes. We build your workspace after it and walk you through it on the second.
Monthly is here so the year is never what stops you.
